The predicted salary is between 36000 - 44000 Β£ per year.

An exciting FMCG client is looking to strengthen their team with a Health & Safety Officer based at their site in South West London. Working closely with the Group HSE Manager and site management team, you will play an important role in supporting the site's HSE vision and continually improving its health and safety culture.

The role will involve championing and advocating HSE controls and standards across the site, supporting risk assessment activity, reviewing hazard reports, and helping to ensure functional compliance with all relevant health and safety requirements. You will also be responsible for producing and maintaining HSE reports, spreadsheets and KPIs, analysing HSE data to identify trends and areas of concern, and following up on outstanding actions. Full training, coaching and mentoring will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone at entry to mid-level who is keen to develop their HSE knowledge and experience within a leading FMCG environment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working within an FMCG company.
  • IOSH Occupational Health & Safety qualification, working towards or with a NEBOSH Certificate.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Proactive approach to identifying hazards, managing actions and improving HSE standards.
  • Able to analyse HSE data, identify trends and escalate issues appropriately.
  • A strong understanding of the importance of positive safety behaviours and HSE culture.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks accurately and effectively, sometimes to tight deadlines.
