The Opportunity
We're supporting a growing digital energy business to appoint a Head of Commercial into a newly created senior leadership role. This is a high-impact position with ownership across sales, marketing, and pricing, responsible for driving revenue, margin, and commercial growth across the business. Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll lead a multi-functional commercial team and help shape the next phase of growth within the UK energy brokerage and aggregator market. This role would suit a commercially driven leader who understands the UK energy market and can balance strategy with hands‑on execution in a lean, fast‑moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the commercial strategy across sales, marketing, and pricing
- Lead and develop teams across TPI sales, partnerships, pricing, and marketing
- Drive revenue, margin, pipeline, and commercial performance against targets
- Build senior relationships with broker networks, TPIs, suppliers, and strategic partners
- Identify new growth opportunities across channels, partnerships, and B2B markets
- Oversee pricing strategy, commission models, and commercial governance
- Ensure marketing activity is aligned to commercial outcomes and ROI
- Provide clear forecasting, reporting, and KPI insight to the Managing Director and SLT
- Work closely with product, technology, operations, and compliance teams
What We're Looking For
- Senior commercial leadership experience within energy, utilities, TPI, brokerage, or a similar regulated B2B market
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and commercial performance
- Experience leading multi-functional commercial teams across sales, marketing, pricing, or partnerships
- Strong understanding of the UK business energy market, broker channels, and supplier landscape
- Confident stakeholder management at senior or board level
- Strategic, analytical, high-energy, and comfortable operating at pace
