Our client is a leading company in the FMCG sector and is now looking for a talented Warehouse Manager. The role is to manage all aspects of the warehouse including Goods In, Stocktaking, Inventory, Picking, Packing and Returns and Dispatch. They require a hands-on style to lead from the front, bringing energy and experience to deliver required improvements to people and process performance.
Key Responsibilities
- To lead and manage all direct reports to deliver customer daily orders in the most cost-effective manner.
- To develop a Continuous Improvement culture to improve warehouse performance efficiencies.
- To drive KPIs in your team for health and safety, quality, customer service, labour and materials.
- Through direct reports, ensure that all functional requirements and SLAs are fully completed and conformed to.
- Develop relationships and work in collaboration with other departments to ensure stock is available.
- Ensure training within your team is completed to health and safety standards and company procedures.
- Ensure that the WMS system is fully utilised and information is maintained in line with company procedures with up to date / accurate stock count.
- Part of implementation of new ERP system in the business.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in a Warehouse Manager position in the FMCG sector.
- A hands-on leader that will lead from the front on the factory floor.
- Capable of delivering excellent Health & Safety standards and a NEBOSH would be an advantage.
- Experience with WMS systems and utilising them effectively.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to build a strong rapport with your team and deliver a high level of performance.
