We're hiring an experienced Planning Manager to take full ownership of installation planning for a fast-growing, design-led business operating across the UK and internationally. This is not a "keep things ticking" role. We need someone who can bring structure, control and clarity to a busy, labour-heavy operation. You'll be responsible for planning people, materials, subcontractors and timelines, making sure what's sold can actually be delivered on time. You'll challenge unrealistic deadlines, spot capacity gaps early, and introduce simple, effective planning processes that reduce firefighting and improve performance.

What you'll be doing:

  • Owning end-to-end installation planning
  • Building realistic daily and weekly schedules
  • Balancing labour, logistics and materials
  • Managing subcontractor capacity
  • Identifying risks before they impact delivery
  • Driving KPIs and improving visibility
  • Supporting a move to a new ERP system

What we're looking for:

  • Strong planning experience in FMCG or fast-paced operational environments
  • Experience in labour-intensive or project-led operations
  • Confident stakeholder management skills
  • Calm, organised and data-driven approach
  • Someone who can level up a planning function quickly

40 hours per week. 6-month fixed term contract. Well-established, growing business with international presence. Ideal for someone who enjoys bringing order to complex operations.
