We are partnering with a progressive and fast-growing food business seeking a highly organised and commercially aware Technologist to play a pivotal role within the Technical team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across customers, suppliers, sustainability initiatives, product development, and compliance programmes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as a key technical contact for customers and suppliers, building strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication across the supply chain.
- Manage customer, supplier, and internal specifications, technical systems, documentation, and compliance requirements, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness at all times.
- Support ethical sourcing, sustainability, SEDEX management, supplier due diligence, and environmental compliance programmes across the business.
- Analyse complaints, rejections, quality trends, and technical performance data, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate product sampling, benchmarking activities, pesticide residue testing programmes, and customer reporting requirements.
- Support customer audits, third-party certification audits, traceability exercises, and incident investigations, helping maintain exceptional compliance standards.
- Collaborate with NPD, Packaging, and Commercial teams.
