We are currently seeking an individual with time served maintenance skills to join a renowned manufacturing company near to Mells, Somerset.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently repair various production machinery using both reactive and preventative maintenance techniques, including motors, control panels and various systems.
- Confidence with PLC fault finding.
- Demonstrate proficiency in both electrical and mechanical principles.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime.
- Experience of leading an engineering team.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and provide reports as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the Industrial sector.
- Relevant qualifications in electrical or Mechanical engineering (BTEC, HNC, etc.).
- Possession of an 18th edition or any additional electrical qualifications is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commutable distance from near to Mells, Somerset.
