Job Title: Agricultural Operations Manager (Relocation) Location: Southwest England Reporting into: Director Our client a fresh produce business supplying locally and nationally to retail, wholesale and exporting into Europe. Position Overview This role will oversee the day-to-day operations of the farm, ensuring the efficient management of all resources, including land, crops, equipment, and personnel. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to maximise productivity, maintain assets, and build strong relationships within the community and industry. Key Responsibilities Operational Management * Plan and coordinate farming activities such as planting, irrigation, harvesting, and crop rotation. * Develop and implement crop management strategies to optimize yield and quality. * Ensure compliance with agricultural standards and government regulations. Asset Management: * Oversee the maintenance and proper use of all farm assets including buildings, vehicles, and machinery. * Conduct regular inspections to ensure all equipment and infrastructure are in optimal working condition. * Implement asset management systems to track and manage farm inventory effectively.
