Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional ready to take ownership of a site and make a real impact? This is a great opportunity to join a well-established food manufacturer where safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do. You'll be the key person leading Health & Safety, Environmental compliance, and Sustainability across the site, driving standards, improving systems, and engaging teams at every level. What you'll be doing: Lead all site HSE and sustainability activity, ensuring full legal compliance. Investigate incidents, update SOPs, and manage audit action plans. Deliver safety training and promote a strong safety culture across the site. Oversee environmental performance, waste, emissions, water usage, and permits. Develop site-level sustainability projects that cut energy use and carbon footprint. Work closely with operations and the factory leadership team on continuous improvement.
What we're looking for: NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum). Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG. Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation. Confident, proactive communicator who enjoys being out on the shop floor.
What's on offer: £40,000-£46,000 depending on experience 23 days holiday +
