What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading strategic supplier relationships across all core proteins.
- Balancing cost, quality, and continuity to meet commercial and technical priorities.
- Using market knowledge and cost insights to inform smart, forward-thinking decisions.
- Developing category strategies that reflect trends, sustainability goals, and efficiency.
- Managing risk to protect continuity and create value.
- Producing accurate financial forecasts and planning across short, medium, and long terms.
- Driving quality across product, service, and process in collaboration with suppliers.
- Working closely with Technical, Finance, Supply Chain, and NPD teams.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in protein procurement within food manufacturing.
- Strong track record in purchasing high volumes of beef, pork, and poultry.
- Deep understanding of protein markets and wider macroeconomic factors.
- Skilled negotiator with strong commercial acumen.
- Strategic mindset, comfortable with data and planning.
- Collaborative communicator who can influence cross-functionally.
