We're looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow our presence within the UK infrastructure sector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, influencing specifications, and working with industry leaders to bring projects to life.

Based anywhere in the UK, you'll spend much of your time connecting with architects, consulting engineers, contractors and asset owners across the country's major cities and infrastructure hubs.

Shape the Future of Infrastructure. Turn Relationships into Opportunities! You’ll develop strong partnerships with key decision makers across the construction and infrastructure landscape, helping to position Hempel as a trusted partner from the earliest stages of project development:

Drive Specification Success You’ll influence project specifications by engaging with stakeholders early in the design process, ensuring Hempel solutions are considered, selected and retained through to project completion:

  • Identify and develop new specification opportunities
  • Create demand for Hempel products within major projects
  • Support project stakeholders with technical and commercial solutions
  • Maintain visibility of future project pipelines
  • Protect specifications through procurement and delivery stages

Project Ownership & Handover Lead the handover of secured project opportunities to the Key Account Management team, ensuring a smooth transition and clear transfer of project insights. Maintain stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle, working collaboratively to protect specifications and support successful project delivery.

Be the Voice of the Market Share customer insights, market trends and project intelligence with colleagues across sales, marketing and technical teams, helping shape future strategies and opportunities.
