About the Role

At our specialist school, we do things differently. Success isn't measured solely by grades. It's seen in every breakthrough, every growing confidence, every student who achieves something they once believed was impossible.

We're looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our supportive team, helping students with additional needs develop the skills, confidence and resilience they need to thrive in education and beyond. Whether you're an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream teacher seeking a more rewarding and meaningful career path, we'll provide the training, development and support to help you succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to overcome barriers and maximise progress.
  • Develop and review individual learning plans and student targets.
  • Work collaboratively with families, therapists and colleagues to support student outcomes.
  • Promote confidence, independence, resilience and positive behaviour.
  • Celebrate progress and help students achieve their personal best every day.

Who we are looking for

  • QTS or equivalent required
  • Has a passion for supporting students with additional needs.
  • Is creative, adaptable and committed to delivering outstanding learning experiences.
  • Builds positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
  • Wants to make a meaningful difference to young people's lives.
  • Experience within SEN, Autism, SEMH or specialist education is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience or qualifications in IT or Music would be advantageous.
