Hemblington Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Classroom Assistant. Do you have a passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated and caring Classroom Assistant to join our friendly team. In this role, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support with their learning and social development. You will help them to access the curriculum, develop independence, and build confidence in a safe, nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing support in class, following guidance from the class teacher and SENDCo
- Assisting with individualised learning activities and differentiated tasks
- Supporting social and emotional wellbeing
- Encouraging positive behaviour and independence skills
- Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals
Successful candidates will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether disqualified under these regulations. Applicants must be prepared to undertake an Enhanced DBS check. Right to Work in the UK will need to be established.
