Overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our busy admin team as the Mayor’s Secretary and Administrative Assistant. This role includes supporting the Town Clerk’s Office with the administration of the Council and assisting with the organisation of civic events. This role will also assist the Deputy Town Clerk with the administration of Committees as required and will clerk evening meetings (usually no more than one a month) and administer working party meetings as required under the guidance of the Deputy Town Clerk.

- Administer working party meetings as required under the guidance of the Deputy Town Clerk.
Qualifications
- Self-motivated and able to work as part of a small team.
- Good communication and customer care skills.
- Computer literate.
Additional information
This position will require occasional weekend work.
