Total Staff are recruiting for an experienced Multi‑Site Manager to oversee three premium student accommodation sites in Oxford during a maternity cover period from January to July. This is an excellent opportunity for an established PBSA, BTR, hospitality, or property operations leader who thrives on organisation, people management, and delivering exceptional resident experience.
You will be stepping into a well‑resourced environment with fully staffed teams, clear operating plans already in place, and supportive senior leadership. What is needed is a steady, confident manager – someone who can take the reins, steer the ship, and ensure consistent, high‑quality service across the portfolio.

Operational Leadership- Oversee day‑to‑day operations across three accommodation sites totalling several hundred beds
- Ensure effective delivery of existing operational plans, compliance requirements, and resident experience standards
- Maintain strong oversight of staffing, workflows, and service delivery
- Lead, develop, and support on‑site teams including Team Leaders and front‑line staff
- Promote a positive, structured, and supportive working environment
- Provide coaching, consistency, and clear communication during the contract period
- Ensure all resident touchpoints – from reception and maintenance to wellbeing and community events – run smoothly and to brand standards
- Act as the point of escalation for complex or sensitive issues
- Maintain a calm, professional presence during peak periods
- Ensure full adherence to H&S, fire safety, safeguarding, and compliance requirements
- Review operational processes and ensure corrective actions are followed through
- Build effective relationships with university partners, local contacts, and internal teams
- Represent the sites with professionalism and confidence
- Maintain consistent operations throughout the contract term
- Support the wider team in reinforcing stability and strengthening reputation post‑challenge
- Provide clear reporting, updates, and operational insight to senior leadership
- Proven experience managing multi‑site operations in PBSA, BTR, hospitality, or residential property
