Helsing is a defence AI company. Our mission is to protect our democracies. We aim to achieve technological leadership, so that open societies can continue to make sovereign decisions and control their ethical standards. As democracies, we believe we have a special responsibility to be thoughtful about the development and deployment of powerful technologies like AI. We take this responsibility seriously.

This is a genuine opportunity to help build and shape our investor relations function at a pivotal point in the company's growth. Reporting directly into the VP Corporate Development and IR, you will work closely with the CFO, founders, board, and other senior stakeholders to strengthen how Helsing engages with existing and prospective investors. You will play a central role in refining our reporting processes, sharpening our equity story and company positioning, and developing the systems and relationships that will support the function as it matures. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is excited by the prospect of being part of a highly innovative company at an inflection point, with real ownership over how a growing IR function takes shape alongside the people setting the company's strategic direction.

The day-to-day

  • Help shape and strengthen the IR function's processes, materials, and infrastructure, including reporting cadences, investor materials, data rooms, and CRM/tracking systems for investor engagement.
  • Support in the preparation of investor communications, including board decks, shareholder updates, and quarterly reporting packs.
  • Develop and continually refine Helsing's equity story and company positioning, ensuring materials support senior stakeholders in the run-up to key company events, such as M&A transactions, fundraising, and other significant strategic milestones.
  • Act as a key point of contact for existing and prospective investors, managing relationships with sensitivity to Helsing's mission and the defence sector's unique dynamics.
  • Partner with the CFO and Finance team to translate financial performance and business metrics into clear, compelling narratives for external audiences.
  • Work closely with the VP Corporate Development and IR, founders, and board to prepare for investor meetings and board engagements.
  • Develop scalable processes and templates that support the IR function's continued growth, raising the bar for how the team operates.
  • Monitor the investor landscape, market sentiment, and peer/competitor positioning to keep leadership informed and ahead of stakeholder expectations.

You should apply if you

  • Have 4-8 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance, or a related field, with direct exposure to investor-facing communications.
  • Are excited by the opportunity to help shape a growing function, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Have experience preparing high-quality investor materials such as board decks, shareholder updates, or fundraising documents.
  • Communicate complex financial and business information clearly and persuasively to sophisticated external audiences.
  • Build effective working relationships across the CFO, founders, board, and external investors simultaneously, and structure information clearly for senior stakeholders.

Note: We operate in an industry where women, as well as other minority groups, are systematically under-represented. We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all the listed qualifications; ability and impact cannot be summarised in a few bullet points.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working at a high-growth company, public or private.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for investor relations or finance workflows, such as automated reporting, data analysis, or document synthesis.
