A lovely family located in Much Wenlock is seeking an occasional babysitter for their two outdoorsy children, ages 2 and 4, for an immediate start. Care is primarily needed during holidays and summer break. Backup care is needed Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm, with occasional care needed as late as 6:30pm. Upcoming dates may fluctuate depending on the family’s schedule. Candidates do not need to be available for all requested dates, but should understand that this position does not guarantee consistent hours.

Start date: Immediate

Length of Position: Long-term

Schedule: Intermittent care - No guaranteed hours

Typical needs: Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm (or as late as 6:30pm)

Compensation: £15 per hour + gas reimbursement when driving the children

Responsibilities:

  • Driving the children, including school pick-ups and outings (maximum commute approximately 20 minutes)
  • Engaging in age-appropriate activities
  • Supporting a fun, active, and safe environment for the children

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of paid professional toddler care experience
  • CPR certified, or willingness to become certified
  • Legally authorized to work in England
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
  • Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
  • Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle to transport children
  • Comfortable with friendly dogs
