We call this role a Care and Training Practitioner internally, although it is commonly known as a Field Care Supervisor.

As a Care and Training Practitioner with Helping Hands, you'll play a vital role in shaping exceptional care, supporting new carers from their very first interview through to their full onboarding journey.

You'll coach, guide and uplift your team while helping the branch maintain quality, compliance and meaningful relationships with customers.

What you'll do

  • Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
  • Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
  • Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
  • Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
  • Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
  • Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
  • Eligibility for the Blue Light Card with hundreds of national discounts.
