Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, this is a senior leadership role within a fast-paced, ambitious private equity-backed business. The role holder will be responsible for brand strategy, national and local marketing, proposition development, and shaping the customer journey in partnership with Digital, New Business and Operational leadership. This is an outstanding opportunity for a high-performing senior marketing leader - ideal for an experienced and ambitious Head of Marketing looking to step into their first Director-level role, or a newly appointed Director seeking greater strategic influence, broader commercial ownership and the chance to shape a function during a period of significant growth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a step-change in brand awareness, consideration and market presence.
- Clarify and strengthen product and service propositions to drive competitive advantage.
- Develop and execute integrated national and local marketing plans aligned to agreed growth priorities.
- Lead the brand and proposition input into the end-to-end customer journey from awareness through retention.
- Work in close partnership with the Director of New Business to strengthen acquisition performance.
- Develop lifecycle and retention strategies to increase customer lifetime value.
- Manage and optimise the marketing budget within agreed parameters, ensuring strong return on investment.
- Maximise efficiency of PPC spend as part of Helping Hands' value creation plan.
- Translate strategy into clear KPIs and measurable financial outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role within a high-growth, performance-driven environment (PE-backed experience advantageous).
- Comfortable operating at pace with clear accountability.
- Strong P&L literacy.
- Experience managing significant budgets and delivering ROI.
- Strong track record of building brand equity while delivering measurable commercial impact.
- Deep understanding of customer journey strategy and cross-functional digital collaboration.
- Data-led decision maker with strong commercial judgement.
