Role Description
This full‑time on‑site Visiting Carer role is based in Derby and focuses on providing person‑centered support to individuals in their own homes.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include assisting with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, medication prompts, and light household tasks to help people live safely and comfortably.
The Visiting Carer offers companionship, emotional support, and practical help, such as accompanying individuals to appointments, social activities, or community events.
The role involves following individual care plans, documenting care provided, and communicating effectively with the wider care team and family members.
Visiting Carers are expected to uphold high standards of dignity, respect, and confidentiality while promoting independence and choice for each person supported.
Qualifications
- Ability to deliver compassionate, person‑centered care, including personal care, mobility support, and assistance with daily living tasks.

- Willingness to travel locally in Derby for home visits; a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are beneficial.
