This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse (Adult) to join our Clinical team as a Regional Registered Nurse. In this specialist role, you’ll lead and develop person-centred care for customers with clinical and complex needs, helping them remain safely at home. Working across one of our regions (with regular travel), you’ll play a key role in strengthening clinical governance, improving quality, and embedding excellent clinical practice. Reporting to the Senior Clinical Lead, you’ll be visible in the field — supporting managers, mentoring carers, and creating a strong learning culture that enables safe, confident delivery of complex care. This role offers real autonomy and the chance to shape how clinical excellence is delivered in a growing, commercial care environment that values your professional judgement.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and oversee all clinical interventions and delegated nursing tasks, providing expert guidance on complex care.
  • Manage the day-to-day clinical case management of customers with complex needs, ensuring safe, effective and person-centred care.
  • Write, review and quality-assure care plans to the highest clinical standards.
  • Support branch and regional managers with clinical assessments, supervisions and professional guidance.
  • Train, mentor and observe carers in the field, providing feedback and promoting best clinical practice.
  • Deliver and oversee clinical training for carers (including Live-in and HVS), in line with NHS direction and organisational standards.
  • Guide and approve costings for Complex Care packages and assess new business opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to grow and develop Complex Care services, supporting regional performance and profitability.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are reviewed with QA and aligned to regulatory requirements and latest NICE and NMC guidance.
  • Champion a strong culture of clinical governance, quality and continuous improvement across your region.

What you’ll bring:

  • A current NMC PIN (Adult) and strong, up-to-date clinical expertise.
  • Experience working with complex clinical needs and delegated nursing tasks.
  • Confidence supporting, training and influencing others in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • A strong understanding of clinical governance, regulation and quality frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to balance quality care and business sustainability.
  • A proactive, flexible mindset and the ambition to shape and develop a specialist clinical role.

Why Helping Hands:

  • Competitive salary of £45,000 per annum
  • Car allowance of £400 per month
  • Annual NMC registration fee paid
  • Ongoing CPD support
  • 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
  • Workplace pension scheme
  • Employee assistance programme
  • The opportunity to make the role your own in an organisation that trusts and values clinical expertise
  • A genuinely supportive culture with clear opportunities for professional growth
