Extraordinary Care. At Helping Hands, kindness is our foundation. From our first kitchen‑table beginnings to the thousands‑strong team we are today, we’re united by one belief: everyone deserves to live well in the place they call home. If you’re passionate about creating meaningful customer experiences and want a role where your work genuinely helps families find the care they need, there’s a place for you here.

To support our continued growth, we’re recruiting two People Business Partners — one to support our East region and one to support our West region. These are senior, strategic roles, partnering closely with operational leaders to enable exceptional team performance and deliver a brilliant colleague experience across our care services.

Reporting into the People Business Partnering Director, you’ll act as a trusted adviser to one Divisional Director and two Heads of Operations, working as a core member of their leadership teams. This is a highly visible role, where strong commercial awareness, sound judgement and thoughtful people‑centred leadership really matter.

This is a strategic People Business Partner role with real scope and influence. You’ll support senior operational leaders to deliver their people plans, strengthen capability across leadership teams and embed a consistent, values‑led culture.

You’ll work with some truly amazing operational teams — leaders who are passionate, committed and deeply connected to the people they support. Your role is to help them do their best work, by providing insight, challenge, coaching and practical people solutions that align with Helping Hands’ purpose.

  • Acting as the strategic people partner to your Divisional Director and Heads of Operations.
  • Leading the development and delivery of the regional people plan, aligned to business priorities.
  • Using people and performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and turning insight into action.
  • Supporting workforce planning, talent, succession, engagement and performance across the region.
  • Coaching and influencing senior leaders to build capability, accountability and confidence.
  • Partnering with central People teams to ensure frameworks, policies and initiatives land effectively in the region.
  • Leading and supporting change initiatives and improvement projects.
  • Managing complex or high‑risk ER matters where required, with a strong focus on fairness and consistency.

You’re an experienced People Business Partner who enjoys working close to the business and making a real difference. You’re comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on support, and you build trust through strong judgement, empathy and credibility.

  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to link people activity to business outcomes.
  • Confidence using data and insight to inform decisions and shape people plans.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience supporting organisational change and cultural development.
  • A full driving licence and flexibility to travel across your region.
  • Coaching qualification or strong coaching capability.
  • Experience supporting multi‑site or regional operations.
