To support our continued growth, we’re recruiting a Data Analyst (Marketing) to support insight across sales, marketing and growth performance — helping teams make better, data‑led decisions that drive acquisition, optimisation and commercial impact. Reporting into the Data Analytics Manager, with a dotted line into the Marketing team as your key stakeholder group, you’ll work closely with marketing and growth teams to analyse performance, build dashboards and deliver insight that supports both day‑to‑day trading and longer‑term planning. This is a hands‑on analyst position with clear ownership, visibility and the opportunity to grow.
Location: Alcester Support Office (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to ÂŁ50,000
The role blends strong analytical capability with a solid grounding in marketing, sales or growth analytics. You’ll use SQL to interrogate data, produce insight and build dashboards that track performance across key marketing metrics such as lifetime value, cost per click and cost per acquisition.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analysing performance across marketing and growth channels, including PPC, paid media, SEO and digital campaigns.
- Working with key marketing metrics such as CPC, CPA, LTV, conversion rates and attribution.
- Producing clear reports and insight to support marketing optimisation and trading decisions.
- Writing SQL queries to extract and analyse data from the data platform (SQL is essential for this role).
- Building and maintaining dashboards to track marketing and growth performance.
- Supporting CRM reporting and customer acquisition insight.
- Responding to ad hoc data requests from marketing and commercial teams.
- Translating business questions into structured analytical tasks.
- Supporting improvements to reporting, automation and data processes.
- Keeping up‑to‑date with modern analytics tools, platforms and evolving best practice.
Who you are:
You’re a data analyst with a genuine interest in marketing and commercial performance. You enjoy working with stakeholders, are comfortable explaining insight to non‑technical audiences, and are motivated to keep learning as tools and techniques evolve.
You bring:
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience working with marketing, sales or growth data.
- Understanding of marketing metrics such as CPC, CPA, LTV and funnel performance.
- Experience producing marketing or commercial reports.
- Experience building dashboards or visualising data.
- Exposure to CRM data and working with marketing teams.
- Good communication skills and stakeholder confidence.
- An eagerness to learn and keep skills current.
Desirable:
- Background in marketing or commercial roles before moving into data.
- Experience in start‑up, scale‑up or fast‑moving environments.
