Live-in Care Assistant
As a Live In Carer with Helping Hands, you'll support people to stay independent in the comfort of their own homes by providing personalised one-to-one care, whilst enjoying fully covered living costs and flexible working patterns.
This is a role where relationships matter. You'll spend time getting to know the people you support, understanding what matters to them and providing consistent, personalised care that helps them stay safe, confident and connected to the life they love.
What you'll do
- Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
- Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and assisting customers to the toilet.
- Assist with mobility needs, helping customers remain safe and independent.
- Administer and manage medication in line with care plans.
- Prepare meals and support with light household tasks.
- Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
- Build trusted relationships with customers, families and healthcare professionals.
- Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
