At Helpful Home, we connect reliable, high-standard domestic cleaners with friendly local clients. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented domestic cleaner to join our network on a self-employed basis.
What We Offer

Mileage Contribution: Mileage allowance paid for travel between properties.
4-Day Working Week: Shifts run strictly Tuesday through Friday during daytime hours. No Mondays, no evenings, and never any weekend work.

Friendly Support: Backed by an organized coordinator who manages client communications and booking logistics so you can focus on cleaning.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out regular and deep cleaning in private residential homes (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, surface polishing, and tidying).
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common living areas to a consistently high standard.
Handle delicate household surfaces and fixtures with care and respect.
Follow specific client checklists and access/security instructions with discretion.
Travel punctually between scheduled residential homes across the local area.
Who We Are Looking For
Experience: Minimum 1 year of domestic, residential, or private housekeeping experience.
Transport: Valid UK driving licence and your own reliable vehicle (essential for traveling between clients).
Self-Employed Status: Registered (or prepared to register) as a self-employed sole trader with HMRC.
Reliability & Standards: High attention to detail, trustworthy character, and a punctual, professional attitude.
Right to Work: Unrestricted right to work in the UK.
