HelpAge International is seeking an experienced consultant to design and deliver a remote training programme on Age-Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) for humanitarian experts from our network members and local partners.
The training will strengthen participants’ understanding of DRR within the humanitarian and development cycle, including anticipatory action, early warning systems, intersectionality, vulnerability and capacity analysis, and age-inclusive DRR policies and practices. The programme will be delivered through a combination of interactive online sessions and self-paced learning materials between November and December 2026.
The Ideal consultant/trainer should possess significant humanitarian experience, strong expertise in DRR, knowledge of age and disability inclusion, and a proven track record in adult learning and facilitation.
