The Vacancy
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team at Help for Heroes, working at the forefront of transformational change.
About the Role
This role plays a pivotal part in delivering two key strategic programmes that support our LiveWell 2032 strategy. These programmes aim to transform our service user journey and strengthen the platforms and processes that underpin our operations.
As Project Manager, you will lead the discovery, planning, and implementation phases of both programmes. Working with internal teams as well as external consultants, you’ll coordinate efforts across the charity to ensure smooth and successful delivery.
You will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, risks, and interdependencies while keeping stakeholders informed and engaged throughout.
About the Team
You’ll be working closely with passionate colleagues across various departments. Reporting to the Head of Digital Experience, you’ll also collaborate with senior managers and programme boards to ensure alignment and impact. You’ll be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team that values innovation, communication, and trust.
About You
You are an experienced and driven project manager with a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects in service delivery environments. You have experience working on service delivery projects and a deep understanding of customer or user journeys, platforms, and operational processes—and how to improve them through structured, measurable change.
You’re organised, analytical, and confident engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You’re equally comfortable managing consultants as you are motivating internal teams. Your ability to lead with clarity and empathy ensures progress even in complex environments.
Most importantly, you’re motivated by the opportunity to make a difference—ensuring Help for Heroes continues to provide life-changing support to those who have served.
