About the Role
This is a varied role at the heart of our People Team, providing high-quality administrative support and first-line HR guidance to colleagues and managers across Help for Heroes.
As a Human Resources Administrator, you’ll help to ensure our internal HR processes run smoothly—from managing people-related inboxes to supporting our learning and development, recruitment, business partnering and internal communications functions. You’ll also support compliance with key policies, procedures and systems, playing a vital role in maintaining our HR data integrity and supporting the employee lifecycle from induction to exit.

About You

You’re organised, solution-focused, and thrive on being a go-to person for a wide range of queries and tasks. You understand the importance of confidentiality and compliance, and you’re motivated by delivering excellent service—both to your team and to colleagues across the organisation.
You’re also tech-savvy, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Most importantly, you’re passionate about helping others and supporting a culture where everyone feels they belong.
Due to our office location in Downton, you will be required to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle with business insurance for work purposes. You are willing and able to travel regularly for in-person meetings and events—often to Downton (SP5 3RB) or London, with occasional travel to other UK locations. Central London travel will be by train.
You are also comfortable staying away from home overnight on occasion, when required to support events or team activities.
