We have a fantastic opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join our team.
About the Role
This is a varied role supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the wider Executive Team. You’ll be at the heart of our organisation—managing schedules, enabling effective meetings, coordinating communication across departments, and supporting strategic initiatives that help us deliver our mission.
As the Executive Assistant, you’ll streamline diary and travel arrangements for the CEO, ensuring maximum efficiency and ensuring the smooth operation of Executive Team functions. You’ll also work closely with our governance team to support compliance, uphold transparency and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
You’ll partner with directors to maintain a high-functioning Executive calendar that highlights our accomplishments, focusses our attention and furthers our mission. You’ll also have the opportunity to lead medium – sized projects that contribute to the charity’s strategic goals.

You hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle with business insurance for work purposes. You are willing and able to travel regularly for in-person meetings and events. Travel to our Downton offices (SP5 3RB) will be a minimum of approximately once per week with potential occasional travel to other UK locations, inclusive of London. Central London travel can be by train.

About the Team
You’ll work closely with the CEO and directors of the charity, joining a dedicated and experienced leadership team focused on driving positive outcomes for the Armed Forces community. As a charity we’re here to support people from our Armed Forces community who are facing challenges after service. And so, of course, our role as an Executive Team is to maximise the impact of this work in service of them – stewarding our income, maximising our investment in support costs and carefully planning for the future – so we deliver the most impact for those most in need.

The Detail
Salary: £33,000 – £36,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Remote-based, with regular travel to Downton (SP5 3RB) approximately once per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
