We're currently working with a well-established main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the UK construction market. Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of secured work, they're now looking to appoint an experienced Project Director to oversee a cluster of Department for Education projects across the region. This is a key leadership role within the business and would suit somebody who is comfortable managing multiple live projects at once, while supporting site teams, maintaining client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. The business has built an excellent reputation within the education sector and is looking for somebody who understands the challenges and expectations that come with delivering DfE-funded schemes.

The Role

  • Overseeing multiple education projects simultaneously
  • Leading and supporting operational delivery teams
  • Managing programmes, performance and project delivery
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially and on schedule
