Our client, a well-established electrical engineering contractor, is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Estimating Engineer to join their growing team in Halifax. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically qualified estimator with strong technical and commercial awareness to join a business delivering a range of industrial and commercial projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing accurate estimates and tender submissions
- Interpreting drawings and specifications
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
- Supporting projects from enquiry stage through to handover
You will work closely with operational and engineering teams to ensure competitive and commercially viable tenders are produced.
Applicants should have previous experience within electrical estimating, along with a good understanding of electrical installations, labour and material take-offs, and current industry regulations including Wiring Regulations, Health.
