As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll be a key leader within the brigade, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver exceptional food standards, flawless execution and a kitchen culture built on pride, pace and professionalism. You can expect to be:
- Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Leading sections during service, ensuring consistency, quality and presentation at all times
- Coaching, developing and motivating junior chefs, fostering a positive and inclusive kitchen culture
- Ensuring dishes are prepared and delivered in line with Hell’s Kitchen brand and menu standards
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, health & safety and allergen compliance
- Supporting stock control, ordering and waste management to meet food margin targets
- Stepping up to lead services in the absence of senior chefs when required
