As Sous Chef, you'll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day leadership of the kitchen, ensuring every plate meets the exacting standards synonymous with the Hell's Kitchen brand. You can expect to be:
- Supporting the Head Chef in managing the daily operation of the kitchen
- Leading service with precision, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation meet brand standards
- Supervising and motivating the kitchen brigade, leading by example at all times
- Supporting menu execution, seasonal changes, and development in line with brand expectations
- Managing food safety, hygiene, and health & safety compliance across the kitchen
- Supporting stock control, ordering, waste management, and food cost targets
- Coaching, training, and developing junior chefs through structured feedback and on-the-job learning
- Ensuring clear communication between kitchen sections and front-of-house during service
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management within the brigade
