Overview
Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs using ASP.NET Core and related technologies.
Define architecture standards, best practices, and reusable patterns for microservices and API development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, QA, UI/UX) to ensure robust integration and delivery.
Guide the development team in choosing appropriate technologies, patterns, and tools.
Drive modernization of legacy systems to .NET Core/.NET 6/7 and cloud-native architectures.
Evaluate and introduce appropriate tools and frameworks to improve developer productivity and software quality.
Perform code reviews, architecture audits, and performance optimization of existing systems.
Mentor and upskill developers on .NET best practices and scalable API design.
Contribute to DevOps pipelines and CI/CD strategy in collaboration with the DevOps team.
Document architecture decisions, APIs, and development processes clearly and effectively
Technical Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development with at least 3+ years in an architect role.
- Expertise in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, C#, and RESTful API design.
- Strong understanding of API versioning, throttling, rate limiting, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT).
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficient with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS (preferably Azure App Services, API Gateway, Azure Functions).
- Familiar with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Experience in monitoring and logging using tools like Serilog, Application Insights, ELK stack, etc.
- Knowledge of domain-driven design (DDD), event-driven architecture (EDA), and CQRS is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Leadership mindset with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect / .NET Developer Associate.
- Prior experience in large-scale enterprise software or high-traffic applications.
