Veterinary Surgeon - London Fields Pod, East London

At Hello Vet we treat pets and people better. We're building the next generation of general practice: putting our people first and using technology that helps rather than gets in the way. We're looking for a full-time vet to join our London Fields pod: our hub at London Fields and our four nearby clinics in Clapton, Columbia Road, Victoria Park and De Beauvoir.

This is a mixed GP role, split between consulting and surgery. We're looking for a vet who enjoys both, is confident in routine soft tissue surgery, and wants to practise in a way that's built around contextualised care and transparency with clients.

Consult across all five clinics, with operating and inpatient care based at our London Fields hub. You'll work with a high RVN-to-vet ratio, a clear workflow between the clinics and the hub, and a digital care team supporting your patients between visits. It's a 4-day week, with weekends shared fairly, and room to grow your surgery, medicine or imaging.

Why Hello Vet

We're built on a simple idea: if we create the best place for our team to work, we'll also create the best place for pets to be cared for.

That means giving you the right tools, structure, support and clinical freedom to do great work.

Strong relationships with clients are at the heart of how we work. Clients can message our team at any time, and can even stay with their pets during procedures.

What to expect

  • Five modern, purpose-built clinics, all a short distance from each other
  • A well-equipped hub with dedicated theatre, imaging and inpatient facilities
  • A collaborative clinical team across the pod
  • Structured schedules that give you time to recharge
  • Our own technology platform, built to cut down admin
  • A team that keeps improving how we work
  • Thoughtful onboarding and training

You’ll be a great fit if you…

  • Are an RCVS registered vet with at least 2 years in general practice
  • Enjoy both consulting and surgery, and are confident with routine soft tissue procedures
  • Communicate with empathy and act with integrity
  • Want to be part of a practice that's doing things differently

What you’ll receive

  • A vibrant, supportive team who all want to change vet care for the better
  • £50,000 - £70,000 annually, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
  • Unlimited CPD budget and real options to grow
  • Equity in the business
  • Paid lunch breaks, free lunch and snacks, an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and mental health support
  • Free vet care for your pets and medication at cost price
