Prima could be the place for you. Since 2015, we’ve been using our love of data and tech to rethink motor insurance and bring drivers a great experience at a great price. Our story began in Italy, where we’ve quickly become the number one online motor insurance provider. In fact, we’re trusted by over 5 million drivers. And now we’re expanding to help millions more drivers in the UK and Spain.

To help fuel that growth, we need a People and Culture Partner to join our People team. This team is the team behind the teams. They attract top talent, help individuals grow and foster a unique culture, where people can be themselves and thrive. As part of this team, you’ll be helping to make Prima the best place to work – for everyone.

What you’ll do:

  • Advisory and business partnering: provide effective advice and support in a timely and proactive manner to key business stakeholders / senior management
  • Employee engagement and lifecycle management: manage and support business stakeholders in all People cycles such as salary reviews, performance reviews and engagement action planning
  • Employee relations: address and resolve high-level employee issues, including grievances, appeals, and complex disciplinary issues and dismissals
  • Project management: own and deliver complex and cross-functional projects and drive progress towards business goals
  • Policy implementation and improvement: engage and coordinate with key stakeholders on data collection and policy implementation

What we’re looking for:

  • Relevant experience in a HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role operating in a global, fast-paced and global/distributed environment. Ideally within a Tech team.
  • Experience in managing and resolving employees’ disciplinary issues in partnership with your business stakeholders
  • Good knowledge of Italian employment legislation and its practical application; good knowledge of the CCNL Commercio is mandatory.
  • Advanced proficiency in both verbal and written English and Italian language
  • High proficiency in Google Suite applications and high confidence in data management problem-solving abilities, demonstrating ability in providing a range of potential solutions to business/employees issues
  • Organizational and relational skills to manage and correctly prioritize multiple activities, initiatives and employee relations quests/issues effectively and efficiently
  • Experience in coordinating cross-team/department activities as project manager and interacting with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership/management teams

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Work Your Way: Enjoy hybrid working, with a mix of home and office days. Plus, for up to 30 days per year, work from anywhere.
  • Grow with us: We may move fast at Prima, but we move together. Get access to learning resources, mentorship and a growth plan tailored to you.
  • Thrive and perform: Your best work begins when you feel your best. Enjoy private healthcare, gym discounts, wellbeing programs and mental health support.
