Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for an Environment Engineer to support complex environment management across SQL, VME, WebLogic, Tuxedo, Windows, and HostTalk platforms. This role focuses on applying and managing SQL schemas across multiple environments, maintaining system stability through upgrades and housekeeping, and ensuring successful deployment and handover processes across development and test landscapes.
What you will do:
- Apply SQL schemas and packages across 30 CESA VME STU, 40 CRS, and 20 SLP WebLogic environments.
- Manage and deploy SQL schemas with a strong focus on VME schemas.
- Create and manage handovers for VME, WebLogic, and HostTalk environments.
- Perform upgrades and maintenance activities across development and test environments.
- Rebuild WebLogic domains and edit properties files as required.
- Deploy HostTalk MSI handovers and manage multiple versions across different projects.
- Perform Unix and WebLogic housekeeping activities and raise RFCs for filesystem issues when required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across VME, WebLogic, and HostTalk environments.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience applying and managing SQL schemas across complex environments.
- Knowledge of VME, WebLogic, Tuxedo, Windows, and SQL databases.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve environment-related issues across multiple platforms.
- Experience deploying handovers and performing environment upgrades.
- Ability to rebuild WebLogic domains and manage properties files.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple HostTalk and GovRules versions.
- Experience performing Unix and WebLogic housekeeping activities.
- SC Clearance required.
