Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Tagetik and ETL Developer to support the development, administration, and enhancement of financial reporting systems within a complex enterprise environment. This role will be responsible for delivering application development for CCH Tagetik databases, supporting ETL processes, managing system administration activities, and collaborating closely with Finance, IT, and reporting teams to ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient financial reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong finance systems development expertise, SQL proficiency, and experience supporting reporting, data transformation, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy application enhancements for CCH Tagetik databases.
- Deliver end-to-end finance systems development activities, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and production deployment.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes, data transformations, and validation routines to support financial reporting requirements.
- Build and enhance financial reports, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Administer CCH Tagetik environments, including user access management, version upgrades, and database administration activities.
- Ensure all development, deployment, documentation, and governance requirements are completed in accordance with established standards.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and reporting system users to support knowledge sharing, training, and ongoing system improvements.
- Provide ad hoc financial, analytical, and systems support to Finance and Actuarial teams.
- Support the delivery of large-scale system development, testing, implementation, and enhancement projects.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial controls, regulatory requirements, and IT governance frameworks.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices that improve financial reporting, accounting processes, and control standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system, data, and reporting issues to ensure platform stability and data integrity.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and system performance.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in finance systems development, including requirements gathering, ETL development, data transformation, validation, and report building.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience developing and optimizing database queries.
- Experience supporting financial reporting environments and regulatory or statutory reporting requirements.
- Experience working with CCH Tagetik strongly preferred.
- Proven experience participating in large-scale system development, testing, deployment, and enhancement projects.
- Understanding of financial controls, governance requirements, and audit processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across Finance and IT teams to deliver system solutions and ongoing enhancements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders.
- Understanding of insurance industry regulations and frameworks, including Solvency II, preferred.
- Professional accounting qualification or strong finance background preferred.
- Experience supporting finance, reporting, or actuarial functions within complex organizations preferred.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain BPSS clearance.
