Our client in the IT Services & Consulting industry is looking for an Agile Product Owner to lead the implementation of OpenShift within a complex enterprise technology environment. This role will serve as the critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring platform capabilities align with strategic objectives while delivering high-value outcomes across the organization.
What you will do:
- Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for OpenShift implementation.
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and technical requirements with key stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for delivery teams.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and DevOps teams to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Manage and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical feasibility.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor delivery progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies where required.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards within the organization’s technology environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for OpenShift-related decisions and inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Product Owner or in a similar Agile delivery role.
- Strong working knowledge of container technologies, particularly OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and hybrid cloud models.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into clear business outcomes.
- Experience using backlog management and delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is advantageous.
- Contractor must be eligible for BPSS clearance.
- Must operate under PAYE via Umbrella arrangement.
