Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Gen‑AI Technical Lead to drive the delivery and scaling of generative AI initiatives across EMEA. This role combines hands‑on technical leadership with stakeholder engagement, focusing on enterprise‑grade Gen‑AI workflows that deliver measurable business impact within regulated and operational environments.
What you will do:
- Lead the design, development and delivery of end‑to‑end Gen‑AI solutions using enterprise‑ready workflows.
- Apply retrieval‑augmented generation, prompt engineering, open‑source LLMs and orchestration frameworks to solve business problems.
- Drive Gen‑AI projects across operational and functional areas, ensuring solutions can scale across EMEA and globally.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, operations and product teams to deliver solutions within enterprise AI stack constraints.
- Translate complex AI and technical concepts into clear, business‑aligned outcomes for senior stakeholders.
- Act as a visible technical authority and trusted advisor in high‑stakes discussions and decision‑making forums.
- Mentor and uplift analysts and practitioners to accelerate Gen‑AI adoption and capability growth.
- Support and lead initiatives aligned with the broader AI operations strategy, serving as a deputy lead for Gen‑AI programs.
Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in data science or data engineering with demonstrable delivery of Gen‑AI solutions.
- Strong practical experience with Gen‑AI workflows including RAG, prompt engineering, open‑source large language models and frameworks such as LangChain.
- Proven experience leading AI initiatives in enterprise or operational environments.
- Strong ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams in complex, regulated environments.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to and influencing senior leaders.
- Experience mentoring teams and driving adoption of emerging AI capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
