Our client in the global professional services industry is seeking a Recruitment Assessments Coordinator to support its Human Resources / Talent Acquisition function.
The role will focus on coordinating recruitment assessment activity and ensuring candidates, recruiters, hiring teams and assessment stakeholders have a smooth, timely and well-organised experience throughout the assessment process.
The successful candidate will combine strong coordination and administration skills with an understanding of recruitment processes, candidate relationship management and assessment workflows.
This is a role suited to someone who is highly organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities and confident communicating with candidates and internal stakeholders.
What you will do
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment assessment activity for approved vacancies, ensuring candidates are scheduled, briefed and progressed through the relevant stages.
- Manage assessment logistics, including invitations, scheduling, reminders, assessment instructions, follow-ups and status tracking.
- Act as a key point of contact for candidates throughout the assessment process, providing clear and timely communication and helping to resolve queries.
- Coordinate with recruiters, hiring managers, Human Resources, assessment providers and other stakeholders to ensure assessment activity runs smoothly.
- Maintain accurate candidate and assessment records within the relevant recruitment / candidate relationship management systems.
- Monitor candidate progress and proactively follow up on outstanding actions, incomplete assessments, scheduling issues and delays.
- Ensure candidates receive the correct assessment information, preparation guidance and next steps at each stage of the process.
- Support the consistent application of recruitment and assessment processes, policies and best practices.
- Identify recurring assessment or recruitment coordination issues and recommend practical improvements to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
- Analyse recruitment and assessment data to identify trends, bottlenecks and opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare or maintain status updates, trackers and reports for recruitment leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Manage multiple vacancies and candidate pipelines simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting agreed timelines.
- Participate actively in team discussions, sharing observations and solutions based on candidate and assessment activity.
- Work independently with increasing ownership and become a subject matter resource for recruitment assessment coordination processes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in recruitment coordination, talent acquisition, HR coordination, assessment coordination, recruitment administration or a closely related function.
- Intermediate proficiency in Candidate Relationship Management.
- Intermediate proficiency in Candidate Assessments and Recruiting Processes.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple candidates, vacancies and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence communicating with candidates and stakeholders at different levels.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate candidate, assessment and recruitment records.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate relationship management (CRM) systems or other recruitment technology.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365, particularly Outlook, Excel and Teams, or equivalent workplace tools.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks and proactively follow up on outstanding actions.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to resolving scheduling, candidate and recruitment process issues.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment where priorities may change.
- Experience that would be advantageous
- Experience coordinating online or virtual recruitment assessments, interviews, testing or assessment centres.
- Experience working with external assessment providers or third-party recruitment technology platforms.
- Experience supporting recruitment within a large, complex or global organisation.
- Experience in professional services, consulting, technology, financial services or another corporate environment.
- Experience producing recruitment reports, maintaining hiring trackers or analysing recruitment funnel / assessment data.
- Experience identifying and improving recruitment or assessment processes.
