Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Project Manager to lead and deliver infrastructure transformation initiatives within the financial services sector. This role focuses on executing end-to-end infrastructure migrations, ensuring cost-effective, supportable, and business-aligned solutions while working closely with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
What you will do:
- Deliver infrastructure projects across the full lifecycle, from initiation through implementation.
- Ensure all project activities meet financial services standards, controls, and compliance requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and track project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
- Coordinate technical teams to produce robust, supportable solution designs and recovery documentation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide best-practice guidance.
- Manage third-party vendors, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of services.
- Oversee project governance, reporting, and communication across all levels of the organization.
- Proactively identify issues, drive resolutions, and manage competing priorities under tight timelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of systems architecture, operational processes, and enterprise-level environments.
- OpenShift experience — must have.
- Prior HSBC experience — good to have.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is required.
