- Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a
Microsoft Viva Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-wide Employee Experience and Workforce Insights solutions using the Microsoft Viva suite.
What you will do
- Define the end-to-end architecture for Microsoft Viva-based employee experience and workforce analytics solutions.
- Design scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise solutions aligned with business and technology strategies.
- Develop target-state architecture, technology roadmaps, and implementation plans.
- Create high-level and detailed solution architecture documents, including conceptual, logical, and physical architecture models.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, governance standards, and compliance requirements.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Architect solutions leveraging the Microsoft Viva suite, including Viva Insights, Viva Connections, Viva Learning, Viva Engage, Viva Goals, and Viva Amplify.
- Design integrated employee experience platforms utilizing Microsoft 365 services and collaboration tools.
- Drive Viva adoption strategies and define enterprise rollout frameworks.
- Establish best practices and standards for Viva implementation across business units.
- Design enterprise workforce analytics solutions using Viva Insights and Microsoft Graph data.
- Support organizational effectiveness initiatives by enabling advanced employee and collaboration insights.
- Define KPI frameworks and analytical models supporting employee engagement, wellbeing, productivity, and collaboration.
- Design architectures supporting scalable reporting and analytics platforms.
- Ensure responsible use of organizational and employee data while adhering to privacy requirements.
- Architect integrated solutions across Microsoft Teams, Share Point Online, One Drive, Exchange Online, Microsoft Graph, and Power Platform.
- Design employee communication, engagement, and collaboration solutions.
- Develop reusable architectural patterns and reference implementations.
- Optimize user experience across digital workplace platforms.
- Define integration strategies across HR, learning, productivity, and collaboration platforms.
- Architect integrations with enterprise applications including Workday, SAP Success Factors, Oracle HCM, Service Now, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Design secure APIs and data exchange mechanisms.
- Define information architecture, metadata, and content governance standards.
- Ensure solutions comply with organizational security policies and industry regulations.
- Design architectures supporting data privacy, information protection, identity & access management, compliance monitoring, and retention & governance policies.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and risk management teams during design and implementation phases.
- Establish governance frameworks for Viva and broader Microsoft 365 environments.
- Act as the technical authority for Microsoft Viva initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders, HR leadership, Enterprise Architecture teams, and program managers.
- Present architecture recommendations and implementation roadmaps to senior leadership.
- Guide development, engineering, and implementation teams throughout delivery.
- Mentor architects, consultants, and technical resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Microsoft Technologies.
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Proven track record architecting enterprise-scale employee experience, collaboration, or workforce analytics platforms.
- Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into enterprise architecture and solution designs.
- Deep expertise in architecture frameworks, governance, and technology strategy.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Viva platform implementations and digital workplace solutions.
- Exposure to workforce analytics, people insights solutions, or Viva Insights advanced analytics and organizational network analysis.
- Experience working within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of organizational change management and employee engagement programs.
- Background leading large-scale Microsoft transformation programs.
- Technical mastery across the Microsoft Viva Suite, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Share Point Online, One Drive, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Graph.
- Advanced proficiency in data and analytics tools, including Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and data governance frameworks.
- Strong cloud and integration skills utilizing Microsoft Azure, Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, API Management, Power Platform, and Power Automate.
- Solid baseline competencies in strategic thinking, technology leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication.
