This role is critical in assessing architecture, security, operations, and cost efficiency to ensure the platform is robust, scalable, and aligned with best practices.What you will do:Conducta detailed review of the customer\’s existing GKE environment across all key technical dimensions.Assesscluster architecture and tenancy models to ensure scalability, resilience, and appropriate isolation.Reviewnetworking and connectivity design to validate performance, reliability, and security.Evaluate security controls, configurations, and compliance with best practices.Reviewoperational processes, monitoring, and observability to support effective day-to-day management.Assessautomation and CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability of deployments.Reviewcost management and billing practices to identify optimisation opportunities.Evaluate testing approaches to ensure platform stability and quality.Produce clear findings and recommendations to improve the overall GKE implementation.Qualifications Proven, hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), with extensive depth in design and operations.Strong knowledge of Kubernetes cluster architecture, networking, and security.Experience reviewing and optimising cloud-native platforms across operations, automation, and cost management.Ability to work independently and deliver structured assessments and recommendations.Eligibility for BPSS clearance.Additional Information Candidates must be legally authorized to live and work in the country where the position is based, without requiring employer sponsorship.HelloKindred is committed to fair, transparent, and inclusive hiring practices.
