Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for an Infrastructure Migration Project Manager to deliver infrastructure projects within the financial services sector. This role focuses on managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring solutions are cost-effective, supportable, and aligned with business needs. The position requires strong coordination of technical teams, stakeholder engagement, and oversight of project governance to ensure successful implementation within regulated environments.
What you will do:
- Deliver infrastructure projects from initiation through to implementation in line with financial services standards.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and risk registers.
- Coordinate technical teams to produce clear, achievable designs and recovery documentation.
- Liaise with business stakeholders to capture requirements and provide guidance on best practices.
- Manage third-party vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of services.
- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with scope, timelines, and budget.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the lifecycle.
- Ensure solutions are cost-effective, supportable, and aligned with operational requirements.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of systems architecture and operational processes.
- Experience working with OpenShift is required.
- Previous experience within HSBC environments preferred.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and cross-functional technical teams.
- Professional project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
- Ability to work effectively within hybrid delivery environments and regulated industries.
