Job Description

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: July 29, 2026

Work set up: On-site, 5 days onsite per week (must be eligible for BPSS)

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a seasoned Fullstack Developer with strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, SQL, REST API, microservices and micro frontends, Entity Framework, Angular 16+, and Azure. The role focuses on developing solutions that align with Architecture, Security, Risk, and Compliance requirements for a UK-based wealth management environment. This position requires deep technical capability across backend, frontend, and cloud services, combined with the ability to work independently in Agile environments while leading and driving delivery.

What you will do:

  • Develop web applications using .NET Core and C# in alignment with architectural and security standards.
  • Build responsive UI and UX solutions using Angular 16+ and state management tools such as NgRx or NgXs.
  • Design and implement REST APIs, MVC patterns, LINQ, microservices, and micro frontends.
  • Use Entity Framework for data access and integration with SQL databases.
  • Develop and integrate solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, Service Bus queues, Azure Functions, and Azure serverless components.
  • Apply clear understanding of authentication, authorization, and subscription key security practices.
  • Lead and drive development activities independently within Agile environments.
  • Implement unit testing using tools such as xUnit, NUnit, Karma and Jasmine, or Jest.
  • Collaborate effectively, share knowledge, and communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience developing web applications using .NET Core.
  • At least 3+ years of experience with Angular 16+ and responsive UI and UX principles.
  • Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, REST API, MVC, LINQ, microservices, micro frontends, and Entity Framework.
  • Experience working with Azure services including Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, Service Bus, Azure Functions, and serverless applications.
  • Experience using state management frameworks such as NgRx or NgXs.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and leading delivery independently.
  • Understanding of security practices including authentication and authorization.
  • Experience with unit testing tools such as xUnit, NUnit, Karma and Jasmine, or Jest.
  • Experience in Wealth Management domain is desirable.
  • Experience with Docker and Azure DevOps CI and CD pipelines is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban is desirable.
