The role of the Team Leaders is responsible for overseeing an area of the production process during the shift, leading a team of operatives to ensure that the KPIs and our Customer expectations are met in full and on time. You will collaborate closely with other departments to meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety and food safety and quality standards.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Leading a team of colleagues on the shift to ensure that the shift KPIs are met in full and on time.
- Fostering a positive work environment that promotes productivity, teamwork, and employee engagement.
- Scheduling and assigning tasks to team members, monitoring their performance, and providing constructive feedback.
- Dealing with day to day queries from colleagues – liaising with HR, Training Teams as required.
- Maintaining up to date and accurate records (including computerised/digital) on production, food safety data and analysing this data to identify trends, problems and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensuring that Food Safety and Health standards are upheld.
