Our recipes and menus are the core of everything we do here at HelloFresh. We're looking for someone to manage our recipe database, working with our Menu Planning and Culinary teams to develop delicious and cost-efficient recipes to ensure that our customers are satisfied with our weekly offering. You’ll be deciding what exciting new ingredients we need, and creating seasonal and limited campaigns to keep our customers engaged with the product. The best part about the job is that our recipes, managed by you, will be available to thousands of customers each week. You will have a real impact on our customer satisfaction and their delicious achievements at home! Reporting to our Head of Culinary, you will help bring our recipes to life in the kitchens of our home cooks! This is a 12m Fixed Term Contract.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Own the end-to-end process of recipe creation, working closely with our Menu Planning, Culinary & Product teams to understand what recipes are required to fit our product architecture.
  • Collaborate with the Culinary team to develop high-quality, tasty recipes that adhere to our cost-of-goods (COGS) targets and product guardrails.
  • Analyse local performance metrics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for menu innovation specifically for the UK market.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the recipe creation process; analysing customer feedback and translating into actionable insights and learnings for future development to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage our recipe database; maintaining an optimal balance across proteins, cuisines, dietary preferences and dishtypes, to ensure variety for our customers.
  • Drive excitement in our menu, working closely with our Brand and Marketing teams to launch exciting partnerships and limited edition campaigns.
  • Ideate new ingredients alongside the Ingredients Team, to support core recipe development and new product launches.
  • Work closely with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to project tender volumes of existing SKUs and ensure the recipe pool can support optimal planning of the SKU portfolio.

  • You have strong experience in product operations or similar.
  • You are analytical and data-driven; able to evaluate recipe performance, identify new trends and use insights to optimise our recipe pool.
  • You are highly organised, independent, and adaptable—able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are a natural relationship builder with strong people skills, a confident communicator, and are able to manage and influence stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • You have a proven track record of solving problems and can quickly identify barriers and drive solutions.
  • A collaborative team player who contributes to a positive culture and works seamlessly across teams to achieve shared goals.
  • You think on your feet and find quick and efficient solutions to resolve problems with minimal impact to all stakeholders.
