What You Will Be Doing

  • Inventory Execution: Maintain the daily inventory levels for assigned fresh or ambient categories, ensuring ingredients are physically available and staged for the production team.
  • Stock Monitoring: Provide real-time updates on ingredient availability, identifying immediate shortages and escalating risks to the Material Planner to prevent production downtime.
  • Administrative Ordering: Execute "top-up" orders and call-offs from suppliers as directed, ensuring delivery schedules align with production needs.
  • Data Integrity: Use supply chain systems to log stock movements, investigate immediate discrepancies, and ensure the digital inventory matches the physical stock on the floor.
  • Waste Mitigation: Physically monitor expiring stock and "short-dated" items, ensuring older stock is used first (FIFO) and reporting potential waste before it occurs.
