Job Title: Junior HR Administration Manager

Location: Derby, The Windmill – with travel to Banbury required once a week

Contract Hours: 40

Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00 – with one weekend a month required with a flexible approach

What You Will Be Doing

As the leader of our People Services team, you will manage a team of four People Services Coordinators, providing guidance and support for their professional growth. You will also work closely with, monitor, and coach our offshore shared services team to ensure consistent and high-quality support. You will be responsible for streamlining and improving all HR administrative processes, from onboarding and offboarding to daily employee record maintenance. You will also play a key part in ensuring our workplace upholds the highest standards of health and safety. You will be the main point of contact for complex queries, providing accurate and timely support to employees and managers.

  • Handling all employee lifecycle administration with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Managing reporting and analysis of key data, such as absence trends.
  • Assisting with the administration of employee benefits and preparing critical HR documents.
  • Championing company culture and key initiatives like employee well-being and diversity.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality with all sensitive information.
  • Providing essential HR support during formal meetings.

Who You Are

  • Qualifications: You hold a CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience: You have proven experience in an HR supervisory or management support role, with a background in an administrative or coordination position, ideally in a FMCG business or similar.
  • Organisational: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Attention to Detail: You have an outstanding eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Technical: You are proficient in Google Suite or equivalent and have practical experience with HRIS systems, ideally including Workday and/or UKG.
  • Knowledge: You possess an understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment law.
  • Competencies: You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and are able to build positive relationships with people at all levels of an organisation.
