Type of Role: Permanent, full time contract

Location: London Fields HQ

Team: Growth Team

Working style: In person

At Hello Vet, we’re on a mission to reinvent veterinary care for pets and the people who love them. After our collective decades in the industry, we saw first‑hand the challenges faced by pets, clients, and veterinary professionals - ultimately concluding that through intentional design and innovations in technology, we could create a better experience for everyone. It’s been just short of two years since we opened, and we’ve been blown away by the amazing response from both clients and clinic professionals. We're a well‑funded business, backed by investors who take a long term approach to growth, and 17 vets have put their savings behind our team's experience and vision. We care about building the kind of workplace we’ve always wanted to be part of. Our belief is simple: if we create the best place for our team to work, we’ll also create the best place for pets to receive care. If you're passionate about this too, come join us and help us scale across the UK.

The role: We’re looking for a Social Media and Content Marketing Associate with a strong focus on paid as well as organic content creation, social media management & CRM to support our ambitious growth plans. You’ll be part of our HQ Marketing team, currently consisting of 4 people (5 with you!). This is an ideal role for someone who loves content creation & storytelling, who is a hands‑on ‘doer’ and who wants to challenge themselves in a fast‑paced environment and join a passionate, driven and fun team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Organic social media content & management: Plan, create and schedule engaging organic social content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) in line with content calendar. Manage day‑to‑day engagement by responding to comments, messages and local conversations in a timely, thoughtful manner. Liaise with clinical teams to bring to life patient stories, educational pieces & seasonal promotions. Support new clinic rollouts and help us create maximum local buzz. Liaise with influencers where applicable.
  • Content creation for paid acquisition: Support the production of varied paid ad creatives across formats (video and static) in partnership with our Content Marketing Manager. Shoot high‑quality thumb‑stopping footage as well as edit creative assets based on briefs. Adapt and repurpose existing content into fresh assets, ensuring outputs are platform‑appropriate, on‑brand and delivered at pace.
  • CRM & Retention: Work closely with our Performance Marketing Lead to build customer‑centric email marketing and deliver monthly newsletters that keep clients engaged, informed and connected to the brand. Build and optimise automated customer campaigns for key client segments to grow client lifetime value, encourage greater use of services, reduce client churn and continually improve retention performance.
  • Copywriting & SEO support: Bring to life our tone of voice through engaging copywriting across marketing touch points. Write SEO‑focused website and blog content based on briefs from our SEO agency, producing clear, engaging copy that helps improve search visibility while reflecting the brand’s tone of voice. Assist with copywriting for other marketing initiatives, website, and promotional materials.
  • Employer Brand: Support the development of our employer brand strategy to help attract top veterinary talent, positioning the business as a standout place to work as we scale into new clinics. Own our LinkedIn presence and employer brand content, creating consistent, high‑quality storytelling that increases visibility, credibility and engagement with vets, nurses and other clinical professionals. Support talent attraction campaigns through targeted hiring adverts, industry press activity, careers events and trade shows, ensuring every touchpoint helps generate strong candidate interest and hiring outcomes.
  • Strategic contribution: Join team‑wide strategy sessions to brainstorm, align, and map how channels interact, while bringing new ideas for growth, conversion, and building the UK’s most trusted vet brand.
  • Ad hoc support: Ad hoc startup tasks, admin and organisation to get things moving along.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1‑5 years experience as a content creator ideally in a consumer or local brand environment, spanning paid & organic social media.
  • Proven ability to create engaging content for social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook & LinkedIn (please provide content examples to showcase your storytelling and technical skills below).
  • Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to write clear, warm and engaging content.
  • Understanding of email marketing and CRM, with experience creating newsletters.
  • Earning trust of others, sincerely open‑minded, valuing togetherness and curiosity.
  • Highly organised and able to project manage tasks reliably.
  • Strong doer, executor. Outstanding drive to results.
  • Ability to make things happen and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Enthusiastic team player who loves working collaboratively and builds positive relationships.
  • Kind, compassionate, caring. Consistently able to deliver on commitments reliably.
  • Operates with urgency and pace without neglecting quality.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity & calm under pressure in a fast‑moving startup environment.
  • Growth mindset. Flexible and willing to support occasional events or weekend activity when needed.
  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Competitive salary & equity
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Salary sacrifice pension scheme
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • A dynamic, high‑growth startup environment where your work makes a real impact
  • Opportunities to grow with the company as we expand across London and beyond
